Shakespeare in the Park 'As You Like It' promenade performance at Bella Vista Farm Park

The Hills Shire Council and Sport for Jove Theatre presented Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park at the historic Bella Vista Farm Park, ushering in a new cultural event and a soaring imaginative experience for the Hills community and beyond.

The partnership offered an exquisite double bill - two of Shakespeare's most enchanting and moving plays, Romeo and Juliet & As You Like It. Set at historic Bella Vista Farm Park, the Park was transformed into the world of Shakespeare, engaging audiences in an extraordinary experience.

The productions introduced new audiences to live theatre and engaged attendees in a unique form of theatre, using the local heritage-listed environment. Audiences watched as Romeo scaled the trellis of the historic homestead to reach his Juliet or followed the As You Like It promenade performance around the Estate and into the avenue of bunya pines to recreate the forest of Arden.
